The returning Ethan Winters will have to act fast if he wants to get his daughter back. The titular village is under siege by supernatural threats once the castle bells toll, putting everyone in danger.
This lanky lunatic appears to be a boss character. Not only is she gleefully sinister, she also acts as a mother to the Witches Three: a trio of sinister beings who can transform into swarms of bugs.
Ethan has more storage space than he did in Resi 7, but less than Leon in Resi 4. This means you're going to have to shuffle guns and items around in his briefcase to fit all the werewolf-bashing goodies you want to carry.
Like Resi 4, Village features a merchant... just not THE Merchant. This new shopkeeper is called The Duke, and he'll sell you rare weapons, items, and gun upgrades. Better save up those in-game coins, Ethan.
Weapons look incredible in Village. Pay close attention, and you can see the wear and tear on barrels of guns. Weapons eat up a lot of space in your briefcase, so carry them with care.
Resi 7's guard and counterattack systems are back, and seem to have been expanded in Village. Not only can Ethan raise his arms to block attacks, he can kick enemies away.
