The missing games of E3 2021

The latest expo may have featured lots of exciting titles, but several big hitters skipped the show entirely

Try to keep your spirits up as we take you through the biggest games that were MIA at E3 2021...

SUICIDE SQUAD: KILL THE JUSTICE LEAGUE

We've still not seen actual gameplay from Rocksteady's latest superhero title. The studio hasn't released a game since 2015's Batman: Arkham Knight, so we're desperate to see more.

Formats: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S

THE ELDER SCROLLS 6

Seeing as the latest entry of Bethesda's fantasy RPG series isn't due out until after Starfield – currently scheduled to arrive late 2022 – don't be surprised if TES6 skips next year's E3, too.

Formats: PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5 (TBC)

FABLE 4

Despite rumors the next Fable will be an MMO, don't expect to see any proper gameplay footage until after developer Playground Games has finished work on the gorgeous Forza Horizon 5.

Formats: PC, Xbox Series X/S

HOGWART'S LEGACY

One of several high profile Warner Bros. games to skip E3. With the latest Fantastic Beasts movie out next year, perhaps we'll see footage from Hogwart's in the coming months.

Formats: PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One

AVOWED

The fantasy adventure set in Obsidian's Pillars of Eternity universe was nowhere to be seen at E3. The studio has promised it will show more soon.

Formats: PC, Xbox Series X/S

GOTHAM KNIGHTS

Another Warner Bros. no-show. Here's hoping this caped co-op adventure gets a release around the time of next year's Batman movie reboot.

Formats: PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One

GOD OF WAR: RAGNAROK

With Sony skipping yet another E3, it's no shock Kratos didn't appear at the mega show. Let's just hope this PS5 sequel is as good as the ace PS4 reboot.

Formats: PS5, PS4
