Prepare for Halo Infinite with some of our favorite shooters that remind us of Master Chief
The obvious touchstone for Halo fans. This brilliant MMO looter shooter is clearly inspired by Bungie's work on Master Chief's adventures. Gunplay is effortlessly, endlessly satisfying.
Respawn's electrifying shooter has one of the best single-player campaigns since the original Halo. Thoughtfully paced and fiercely inventive, Titanfall 2 is an all-time great solo shooter.
Bethesda's breakneck hit takes Halo's formula of circle strafing and picking enemies off with well-placed shots, then straps a jet engine to its back. A breathless, totally empowering FPS.
Gordon's seminal sequel captures the same feeling of exploration and wonder as the Halo series, albeit in a slightly more grounded setting. Like Halo Reach, its campaign is perfectly paced.
A shooter that was forgotten all too quickly, but one that makes you think carefully about the guns at your disposal, just like Halo. It also features terrific, Warthog-esque vehicle sections.
An underrated multiplayer gem that harks back to some of the best times we've had in Halo. If you're to succeed, you need to know its arenas like your best (hopefully not fragged) friend.
