All the details on the shooter's release date, multiplayer, and Zombies mode
Set across WW2's Eastern and Western Fronts, North Africa, and the Pacific, Vanguard has you swapping between four main characters, including Soviet sniper Polina Petrova, and British paratrooper Arthur Kinglsey.
The first-person shooter's launch date is set for Nov 5, 2021. Currently, there's no offical timeline for when Vanguard will be integrated with Warzone.
A recent leak revealed multiplayer will feature create-a-class weapon options. It looks like we'll have 10 attachment slots to work with, alongside the now standard charms and stickers.
Vanguard's PlayStation-only alpha revealed a new mode, called Champion Hill. This new match type is a mini round-robin tournament that pits duos or trios against each other.
Vanguard's Zombie mode will be a prequel to the current Black Ops Cold War Zombies storyline. The mode will be developed by Treyarch, the studio now infamous for its COD Zombies work.
A new Pacific island Warzone map will launch shortly after Vanguard at some point in November. Lush, green, and built entirely from the ground up, it will be roughly the same size as Verdansk.
