Why Nintendo's glorious platforming bundle is worth your cash.
This bundle gives you three of the greatest 3D platformers of all time: 1996's Super Mario 64, 2002's Super Mario Sunshine, and 2007's Super Mario Galaxy. Nintendo has even thrown in the complete soundtrack for each title. Talk about serious ear nostalgia.
All three games have been updated with higher resolutions so they look more polished and modernized. The controls have also been slightly tweaked for each game to accomodate handheld play.
Though these aren't full blow remasters, these re-releases are the perfect bundle for those looking to revisit the 3D Mario games of their youth. None of the subtle tweaks remove this trio's classic charm.
If you're still on the fence about buying this brilliant bundle, then remember this is a limited-time product. Physical copies of the game are in limited production, and the digital version won't be available to buy after March 31, 2021.
All three games play brilliantly in handheld mode on Switch. Super Mario 64 and Galaxy's Power Star hunts and Sunshine's quest for Shine Sprites are all fairly bite-sized, making them perfect for quick portable sessions.
