A quick guide to Batman: Gotham Knights

Here's what we know about Warner Bros. Montreal's new superhero game

After months or leaks, rumors, and deliberate teases, we finally have our first look at this exciting new Batman game – even if Bats might not be in it. Here's what you need to know about Gotham Knights...

Warner Bros. Montreal's first Bats game since 2013's Arkham Origins is due out sometime next year. Its big hook? The Dark Knight is dead, and now his super friends have to step up.

There are at least four playable characters

With Bruce buying the billionaire farm, it's up to Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin to protect Gotham. All four heroes are playable, though the game isn't set in the same universe as the Arkham titles, despite the similarities.

Mr. Freeze is a major villain
